'Towards 2016, Review and Transitional Agreement 2008-2009' - Ballot Arrangements

Please be advised that a ballot paper and a pre-paid envelope will be sent to you under separate cover by post. Independent Scrutinisers will carry out the ballot process.

If you know of a TSSA colleague who is not on our email list please ask them to contact the TSSA Helpdesk on (1800 805272) as soon as possible. Please also note that the helpdesk should be advised if you have changed your home or work address in the recent past.

The number of ballot papers issued will be assessed on the basis of the current records of personal details in the Association's membership database. If you do not receive a copy of a ballot paper by 12 noon on Friday 24th October 2008, one can be obtained by contacting the TSSA Helpdesk on 1800 805272 or by emailing enquiries@tssa.ie

If you require hard copies of the Agreement please do so as per the helpdesks contact details stated above.

The ballot results will be aggregated to determine an overall result for all TSSA members. The aggregate TSSA result will determine the vote by the Association's delegation to an ICTU Special Delegates Conference on Monday 17th November 2008, which will decide whether to accept or reject 'the new phase of TOWARDS 2016'. TSSA will be bound by the ICTU decision.

Results of the TSSA and ICTU Special Delegates votes will be circulated in due course. In circumstances where either yourself or a TSSA colleague does not receive a ballot paper by 12 noon on Friday 24th October 2008 please ensure that you contact the helpdesk immediately on 1800 805272 should you wish to receive a ballot paper. The closing date will be Thursday 13th November 2008.
