Dublin Transport Authority

Information has been received that the Government is proceeding with undue haste to pass the Dublin Transport Authority (DTA) Bill in the current session of the Dáil which is due to recess on 9th July.

A meeting will be held on Monday 7th July at 5.30pm in the Swift Room, Gresham Hotel, O'Connell Street, Dublin. Mr. Tommy Broughan, T.D. Labour spokesman on Transport will attend the meeting to outline the current position on the legal status of the Dublin Transport Authority.

All employees of the CIE group of companies are encouraged and invited to attend. It would be appreciated if you could advise your colleagues, and circulate this circular as widely as possible.
