ICTU Northern Ireland Conference 2010

24 November 2009: The ICTU Northern Ireland Conference 2010 is being held in the City Hotel, Derry, on Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th April 2010.

The Association is entitled to submit two motions to this conference, and Branches should submit their motion, by e-mail if possible, to pavloup@tssa.org.uk or by post to Pat Pavlou, Walkden House, 10 Melton Street London NW1 2EJ by Friday 22nd January 2010.

The Association is entitled to send two delegates and Branches are invited to nominate candidates on the nomination circulated to members. There is capacity on this form for candidates to confirm their acceptance of the nomination, otherwise the candidate must send a letter of acceptance to Pat Pavlou at Walkden House by the close of nominations - 22nd January 2010.

It should be made clear to candidates that such acceptance implies that if elected as a TSSA delegate, he/she will act in line with Association policy, i.e. in accordance with Annual Conference decisions or, in the absence of such decisions, in accordance with the decisions of the Executive Committee/Irish Committee or, in the last resort, and in the absence of guidance from the Executive Committee/Irish Committee, in accordance with the judgement of the delegates as to Association policy.
